Ray Park Foundation is a full-charity 501(c)(3) non profit organization founded in 2012 in Sandusky, MI. Since our beginning, we have raised over $300,000 and have sponsored over 130 hunts for disabled youth, sent youth to Kicking Bear Ministry camps, fishing trips and other causes connecting youth to the great outdoors.
Growing up in the Park family household, hunting, fishing and trapping were a part of daily life for Ray Park’s four children. From regular fishing and hunting adventures with the whole family, to taking his wife Betty on African Safaris, Ray made sure his family experienced and enjoyed the outdoors. Ray cared about the future of the outdoors. He was a member of the NRA, Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, ODMA and many others. Ray's life sadly ended due to Pancreatic cancer in September of 2009. In 2012, Brian Park and his partners had an idea for a competition that included archery, shooting and golf. In a blaze of excitement they came up with the Quad Shootout. In six short weeks, the Park family and friends got to work putting together the very first Quad Shootout event. The first Quad was a hit with 20 teams. Brian Park knew this event needed to have a solid foundation with a worthy cause. To honor and carry on his father’s mission to share the great outdoors, Brian Park created the Ray Park Foundation. Through the help of people like you, the Foundation has grown each year and has created opportunities for youth to experience the great outdoors.
